Prof. Gianclaudio Malgieri and Prof. Cristiana Santos will present their recent paper on the assessment of the severities of impact on fundamental rights. It investigates what the impacts on fundamental rights are, proposes a way to assess the severity of the impact on fundamental rights, and proposes a way to overcome the main limits of the risk-based approach and right-based approach to digital regulations.

After the presentation (c.a. 30 minutes) there will be an open discussion (c.a. 1hour).
